Ok so here is the down-low in a nutshell: (I wonder how many clichés I can fit in one sentence?)
Lived
a long time in New Zealand, moved to Australia (my home country) to
continue my career after working really hard as a student to become a
Commercial Pilot. I DID IT!
Things didn't go so smoothly with
the move, as my pride and joy daughter didn't adjust very well, so in
order to keep us both sane, I decided that to look after her, and focus
on her that would be my prime directive for as long as needed!... She
started adjusting after a while, which was awesome.
Meanwhile in
financial reality land things were looking pretty grim as I had been a
student for years (after previously providing for us with a job in
Information Technology). There was a special moment which was a little
hard, lets just put it that way, and during that time, I had a profound
dream, I kid not!... it was huge!! in it my long lost love come to me
and said he was waiting for me.
Don't click close! I decided
after 12 years to try and find him... long and seriously complex search
later, I did, and he said, I've been waiting for you! Swooooon!
Three
weeks later via skype we were engaged! ...and then (and there is a huge
story in-between too by the way), I decided it was well overdue to be
with him, and sold everything that was left, and moved to London. It
truly is my personal epic love story that I could only dream of coming
true.
So we are here still in London, but wouldn't you know it,
all of the most incredible people in my world decided to get married! People who have supported me through thick and thin, supported my move,
and generally BEEN there for me no matter what... I owe them big time.
Here
is where you come in and why I decided to 'attempt' to write a blog...
I'm still a student, not legally allowed to work in the UK due to the
Visa I am on, my LOML (Love Of My Life) has used almost all of his
savings getting me here, and providing for me and my daughter... and we
simply cant figure out a way, without fund-raising to be able to be
there for those that mean so much...
